Switching Office Cleaning Companies in the East Bay

Missed visits, a stranger with your alarm code, nobody to call. Replacing a cleaning company sounds like a project; with us it is a walkthrough, a written scope and one overlap week.

  • Urgent starts get priority
  • Overlap week available
  • No long-term contract

The signs it is time to switch

Most offices put up with a bad cleaning service far longer than they should, because switching feels like more work than complaining. These are the signs we hear on the first call, and any one of them is reason enough:

  • Missed visits. The crew skipped a night and nobody told you. You found out from the trash.
  • Inconsistent crews. A different person every week, each one learning your office from scratch, each one holding your key or code.
  • No written scope. You and the cleaner disagree about what was included, and there is nothing on paper to settle it.
  • No one to call. Texts go unanswered, the owner's voicemail is full, and the problem waits until someone from your team deals with it.
  • Slow drift. The first month was great. Now the restrooms get a quick wipe, the kitchen gets skipped, and the price has not changed.

How a switch works with us

  1. Walkthrough, usually within a few days. Tell us what the current cleaner gets wrong. That list becomes the first draft of your checklist.
  2. Written scope and flat price. A room by room checklist, the visit schedule and a monthly price, in writing, before anything is scheduled. See typical ranges on the pricing guide.
  3. Overlap week if you want one. Your new crew does its first visit, a detailed reset, while your old provider is still on notice. Nothing is missed in the handoff.
  4. Keys, codes and access changed once. Your crew gets its own key card or alarm code so the old company's access can be shut off the day they finish.
  5. Month-to-month terms. No long-term contract. Your agreement spells out the notice period, and you can review it before you sign.

If your cleaner quit without notice, say so when you call (925) 956-4297. Offices with no coverage go to the front of the schedule.

What to tell your current provider

Check your agreement for the notice period, usually 30 days, and give notice in writing on the day you approve our quote. Keep it short: the end date, a request for the return of keys and fobs, and a note that alarm codes will be changed on that date. You do not owe an explanation. If the current provider offers a discount to stay, remember that the problem was never the price.

Before the last visit, write down what the old service kept missing and give it to us at the walkthrough. Then change the alarm code and collect the keys. Expect the first visit from the new crew to run longer than a normal visit, because it is a reset.

What changes after the switch

  • The same crew every visit, named in your account
  • A written checklist you can hold us to
  • One local contact who answers the phone
  • A backup who has your checklist when someone is out
  • A check-in after week one to fine tune
  • Rotating tasks on a calendar so they get done

Switching questions

Our cleaner just quit. How fast can you start?

Call (925) 956-4297 and say so. We book the walkthrough at your earliest availability, send the written quote right after, and set the first visit as soon as you approve it. Offices without coverage are prioritized.

Do we have to sign a long-term contract?

No. Recurring service runs month to month with a notice period written into your agreement. You review the terms before you sign anything.

Can the two companies overlap for a week?

Yes, and we recommend it. Your new crew does its first visit while the old provider is still on notice, so nothing is missed during the handoff. If the old company has already stopped showing up, we start as soon as you approve the quote.

What if the new crew misses something too?

Call or text your local contact and it is fixed on the next visit or sooner. We also check in after the first week and update the checklist with anything you noticed.
