Law Office Cleaning in the East Bay

After-hours cleaning for firms that need the office client-ready every morning and need to know exactly who was in it the night before. One regular crew, a written scope, and a hard rule about documents.

  • After hours only
  • No document handling
  • Same crew, named in writing

A law office has two things most offices do not: paper that cannot be moved and visitors who judge the firm by its conference room. The cleaning service has to deliver a spotless lobby and conference table every morning without ever touching a file, a desk with work on it, or a screen that was left on. That is what law office cleaning means to us: thorough in the places clients see, hands off in the places they do not.

What is included in law office cleaning

Every firm gets a written, room by room scope after the walkthrough, including a list of what the crew will not touch. A typical scope includes:

  • Reception and lobby seating, tables and glass cleaned every visit
  • Conference rooms reset: table wiped, chairs straightened, glass and whiteboards cleaned
  • Desks wiped only where they are clear; papers, files and binders never moved
  • Restrooms cleaned, disinfected and restocked
  • Kitchen and break room counters, sinks, appliance fronts and tables wiped
  • Carpet vacuumed, hard floors swept and damp mopped
  • Door handles, light switches, railings and elevator buttons disinfected
  • Trash and recycling removed with liners replaced; shred bins left alone
  • Dusting of ledges, window sills, bookcases and reachable surfaces
  • Monthly rotation: baseboards, vents, high dusting and interior glass

The document rule is simple and written into every account: crews do not open drawers or cabinets, do not move paper, files, mail or boxes, and do not touch computers, phones or printers beyond wiping the outside of a clear desk. Shred bins and locked consoles are emptied only by your shredding vendor. War rooms, records rooms and any office you mark as closed stay closed.

Who law office cleaning is for

  • Solo and small firms in professional suites in Walnut Creek, Lafayette, Danville and Pleasant Hill
  • Mid-size firms on full floors in downtown Oakland, Walnut Creek and Concord
  • Family law, estate planning, immigration and personal injury practices with heavy client traffic
  • Title, escrow, accounting and financial advisory offices with the same confidentiality needs
  • Shared executive suites where several firms use one reception and conference area

Firms in a multi-tenant building where the landlord cleans common areas usually only need their own suite covered; see small office building cleaning if you are the landlord. Our standard office cleaning page covers the general scope this is built on.

How scheduling works

Law offices are cleaned after hours only. Most firms choose a window after 6pm, once the last attorney has left, and some prefer a late-evening start because staff stay late during trial prep. Early-morning service before 7am is available for firms that would rather have no one in the office overnight. The same crew comes each visit and is named in your account file, so you always know who has access.

Access is handled the way your building and your risk tolerance require: a dedicated key card or alarm code for the crew, sign-in with building security where it exists, and a note of arrival and departure times on request. When a regular crew member is out, a backup who has your written scope covers the visit, and we tell you ahead of time whenever we can. What law office cleaning costs

Law offices are priced like any office, on square footage, frequency and scope. Most small firms pay $180 to $390 per visit, and very small suites can start lower. Firms with a large conference suite, multiple restrooms or daily client traffic sit toward the top of the range. Those are typical ranges for budgeting, not quotes. See the pricing guide for ranges by size and frequency, then request a walkthrough for an exact number.

What to expect on the first visit

  1. Walkthrough with your office manager. We tour reception, conference rooms, attorney offices, the kitchen, restrooms and any records areas, and note which rooms are off limits.
  2. Boundaries in writing. The document rule, closed rooms, shred bin handling and access procedure are written into the scope before anyone starts.
  3. Written scope and quote. You approve a room by room checklist and a flat monthly price. Nothing is scheduled until you do.
  4. First visit and check-in. The first cleaning is a detailed reset. After the first week we check what the front desk noticed and adjust the checklist.

Law office cleaning questions

Will the crew touch client files or papers on desks?

No. Crews clean around paper and never move it. A desk with work on it gets the clear areas wiped and nothing else. Drawers, cabinets and shred bins stay closed, and rooms you mark as off limits are not entered.

Who exactly will be in our office?

Our vetted local cleaning crews. One regular crew is assigned to your account and named in your file, with a backup who has your written scope. We tell you when the backup is coming whenever we know in advance.

Can you sign a confidentiality agreement?

Yes. If your firm has a vendor confidentiality agreement, send it with the quote request and we will review it before the walkthrough.

Do you clean during business hours for a visible presence?

Routine cleaning is after hours only. Firms that want restrooms and the lobby kept up during the day can add a day porter for a few hours a day.
