Dental Office Cleaning in the East Bay
After-hours cleaning that keeps operatories, waiting rooms and restrooms ready for the first patient, done by a consistent vetted local crew that works around your sterilization protocols instead of through them.
- After patient hours
- Sterilization area left to your team
- Separate cloths per zone
A dental office gets judged twice a day: once when the first patient sits in the waiting room, and again when they walk into the operatory. Dust on a light arm, a smudged reception window or a restroom that was skipped reads as carelessness, even when the clinical work is excellent. Dental office cleaning is standard office cleaning with stricter boundaries: more surface disinfection, a clear line between what the cleaning crew touches and what your staff handles, and a schedule that never overlaps with patients.
What is included in dental office cleaning
Every practice gets a written, room by room scope after the walkthrough. A typical dental scope includes:
- Operatory floors mopped with a disinfectant you approve
- Operatory counters, cabinet fronts, sinks and faucets wiped once staff have cleared them
- Patient chair bases, light handles and door handles disinfected
- Waiting room seating, armrests, tables and toys area wiped and tidied
- Front desk, check-in counter and card readers disinfected
- Restrooms cleaned, disinfected and restocked
- Staff break room, refrigerator front and microwave wiped
- Consultation rooms and private offices dusted and vacuumed
- Regular trash and recycling removed, liners replaced
- Entry glass, interior glass and reception windows cleaned
Operatory turnover between patients, instrument processing, the sterilization area, suction lines and anything inside a sterilizer or ultrasonic cleaner stay with your clinical team. Our crews do not touch instruments, open drawers in the sterilization area or handle sharps containers, amalgam separators or regulated waste. If your practice follows a written surface cleaning protocol based on CDC dental guidance, we build the checklist around it and use the products it calls for.
Who dental office cleaning is for
- General dentistry practices with two to twelve operatories
- Orthodontists and pediatric dental offices with busy waiting rooms
- Oral surgery, endodontic and periodontal suites
- Dental groups with more than one East Bay location that want one scope and one invoice
- Dental buildings where a property manager needs suites and common areas covered
Practices that also have exam rooms for medical care should look at our medical office cleaning page, which covers the same approach for clinics. A new suite buildout should start with post-construction cleaning before equipment is installed.
How scheduling works
Dental offices are cleaned after the last patient leaves and the team has finished turnover and sterilization for the day. Most practices choose an evening window, usually between 6pm and 10pm. Offices with early starts sometimes prefer a crew at 6am instead, so the operatories are finished right before the first patient. Practices open on Saturdays add a weekend visit.
Most dental offices need service three to five nights a week, because operatories, restrooms and the waiting room see steady traffic. The same crew comes every visit, learns which rooms are off limits and follows the same order each time. Questions, schedule changes and special requests go to one local contact at (925) 956-4297.
What dental office cleaning costs
Dental offices are quoted the same way as any office, on square footage, frequency and scope, then adjusted for the extra disinfection time in operatories and restrooms. Expect pricing usually 15 to 30 percent above standard office rates. For reference, most small East Bay offices pay $180 to $390 per visit, and very small suites can start lower. Those are typical ranges for budgeting, not quotes. Our pricing guide shows the standard ranges this is based on, and your exact number comes in writing after a walkthrough.
What to expect on the first visit
- Walkthrough with your office manager. We tour the operatories, sterilization area, lab, waiting room, restrooms and staff areas and note what the crew may and may not touch.
- Products and boundaries. We confirm the disinfectant and contact time you want on operatory surfaces, where sharps and regulated waste are kept, and which cabinets stay closed.
- Written scope and quote. You approve a room by room checklist and a monthly price before anything is scheduled.
- First visit and check-in. The first cleaning is a detailed reset. After the first week we ask what your front desk noticed and adjust the checklist.
Dental office cleaning questions
Do you clean inside the operatories?
Yes, the floors, counters, cabinet fronts, sinks and the chair base and light handles, after your staff has cleared the surfaces and completed turnover. Instruments, trays, delivery units and anything in the sterilization workflow stay with your clinical team.
What about sharps, amalgam and biohazard waste?
Crews never touch sharps containers, amalgam separators or red bag waste. Those stay with your medical waste vendor. We remove regular trash and recycling only.
Which disinfectant will you use?
The product your practice already approves for surfaces, or one we supply that you review first. If your protocol specifies a contact time, the crew follows it, and the product name is written into your scope.
Can you clean before we open instead of at night?
Yes. Some practices prefer an early-morning crew so the operatories and waiting room are finished right before the first patient. Tell us your opening time at the walkthrough and we schedule around it.
How quickly can you start?
Call (925) 956-4297 or send the form below. We book the walkthrough as soon as you are available, and a practice whose cleaner stopped showing up gets priority on the start date.
